That's his married name, only uses it because Yenni's have major stroke in Kenna Brah. They have a pretty big street named after them.

His mom was a Yenni, his dad was a Maunoir; his birth name was Michael Maunoir.

His grandfather and uncle were both well-respected elected leaders: Joe Yenni (Mayor of Kenner and Parish President) and Mike Yenni (Parish President).

To capitalize on the family name, he took his mother's maiden name and ran with it.

His ruse worked. Many dumbasses thought he was the late Mike Yenni's son (Mike Jr.) instead of his nephew.

I think you have that backwards. Mike Yenni's Bastard child.

Great guy.

Absolutely! So was Coach Joe Yenni.

Pretty sure he’s correct.

He looks like he could have been Butch Patrick's stunt double.

Joe Yenni foiled Eddie D’s run for a third term in 1970. Then Eddie D became a state representative and was Edwin Edward’s floor leader.
I knew all of those people very well back in the day.

Jr Rodrigue was hilarious when he said "Aaron Broussard must keep an onion in his pocket, he can cry at the drop of a hat"...

Is Plaquemines Parish corrupt or not? We may be beginning a large energy infra venture there. This would be a low carbon, but still nat gas using venture. CCS. Would be good to know the ins and outs of local officials there beforehand. In a parish of 4,000 people, I have no contact there to see.
