No, the study cost $300,000... it's right there in the article.


However, if you can take a $926M budget and only find $7M in savings... less than 1%... you aren't worth the $300,000.

It says in the article they aren’t done yet

The City of B.R. is scrubbing the budget to look for excess funds to fund a pay increase for the Police Department. The starting pay is way below the local market average and is hurting recruiting and retention. It's that simple. There's not much I agree with the Broome administration on, but this is one idea that makes sense. The BRPD will get much worse and crime will get much worse unless staffing levels are brought back up and quality applicants can be hired. This is a must do item. And yes, I back the blue!!

They should pay someone to do a study that points out that they are paying for too many studies.

How bad are those in charge that they have to pay someone else to come in and clean up their own mess?
