i had a little silver one that i could refuel and it had a built-in cutter on the bottom that i loved.

well it will no longer take gas properly and won't stay lit despite my best efforts to bleed it and refill it.

i prefer an all-in-one so i'm not always rummaging around looking for a cutter and prefer one that wont crap out on me after a couple of years.

TIA and for your troubles:

Xikar's have lifetime warranties

Lots of models, I gave this triple torch to my groomsmen years ago, I dont think any have had issues. It has a cutter in the bottom

will check it out.

what shape cutter do you prefer? my old one had a pop-out circle that cut a round hole.

my FiL uses the old school snipper that makes the V.

i find myself liking his more.

Like others have said you can't beat Xikar and their warranty. I just bought this one. The cutter is attached to the lighter magnetically. I have had many different lighters but this one is easily the best.

Anything by Xikar is worth the extra price. You can also trade them in later on down the road for the price you paid at some retailers.

I use a guillotine cutter, but I also really like he punch cutters, just never think to buy one except when I'm actually lighting up, never in the store.

how many types are there? i'm relatively new to the cigar game but my FiL has a V cutter, I have a guillotine and my last lighter had the punch which i ended up using most of the time because it was convenient.
