I wonder why God couldn't have just prevented the entire church from burning?

Personally I find it interesting that this article exists, given the massive scandals revealed lately in the church. Does God care more about books than children? Thoughts? Comments? Discussion?

Earth is not heaven. Satan has great power here. Humans have free will. Satan will point the finger at God every chance he gets. He is very deceptive.

Priests who abuse kids are doing Satan’s work not God’s work.

God says to be Christ like. Those priest are the opposite of Christ. Just because someone has great knowledge of the Bible does not mean their heart belongs to Jesus and it does not mean they are going to Heaven.

Fires go around crosses all the time in California wild fires. I believe it's God giving us a sign

I heard a few stories similar to this after Katrina. The entire contents of a house molded and ruined but crucifixes and other religious icons left untouched.

So God burned the church and spared the bibles? Might be a sign in there somewhere.

Yea if the story isn’t bullshite I would take that to mean “less worry about church and more worry about what’s in that book”

Wait a sec...the guy says this:

quote:

“Picture this, a building so hot that at one point in time, firefighters had to back out. In your mind, everything should be burned, ashes. Not a single bible was burned and not a single cross was harmed! Not a single firefighter was hurt!”

So is he saying that they knew exactly how many bibles were in there, and every single one was accounted for? Or are they just saying that SOME didn't burn. Because most of them could have been cremated.

Also, he says not a single cross was harmed, but I gotta tell you...this one is not looking any better than that wall behind it. And the ceiling above it looks like it's in much better shape than the cross. GOD SPARED THE CEILING TILES!!!!
