Chrysler can always make attractive vehicles, but I will never trust their quality in any aspect, especially the Pacifica which was complete garbage from day one until they stopped making them because people abruptly stopped buying them when the entire line was discovered by the public, pretty quickly, to be "lemons"- total trash. People were practically paying for them to be taken off their hands. Regardless how pretty, new, & shiny this new version is, I wouldn't trust it to get me around the block. I usually never say never about any type of automobile considering the fact that engineering is always improving in pretty much all capacities of automobile manufacturing for all companies ... except Chrysler.

We test drove an Odyssey recently. It was spacious, comfortable and rode well. I could have easily seen myself driving the wife and kids around town in it. Unfortunately it was $44k.

Why is this a fracking topic on the OT?!!! Of all the cool & interesting concepts/cars at NAIAS, you want to discuss a POS Chrysler Minivan with a 200 front end?!?! Talk about the pussification of America!

Chrysler/Dodge has some of the nicest looking vehicles, but their quality/reliability is awful. Would never buy a Dodge/Chrysler product.

I agree, and it is a shame since they do make some attractive vehicles.

You shouldn't be judged by your car, but there is nothing cool about a minivan.

What do you drive, heather?

It's always best practice to judge an entire automotive conglomerate based on one crappy 12 year old American market vehicle. So what do you drive? I'm sure they never made a lemon like the shitastic Chrysler has.
On topic, I think it looks good. Would never buy one, but it's definitely a step in the right direction for Chrysler. Now they just need to streamline the rest of their lineup. Also hope they get the kinks worked out with that 9 speed, that'll be the one knock on this thing once it hits the dealer lots.

Again?
Minivans and station wagons were/are never cool.
They are for soccer mom's and Beta pussified husbands.

A lot of people are in here shitting on minivans, but a minivan is a nice ride. We drove a rental minivan on a 2,000 mile road trip a few years ago. Talk about a nice, smooth ride.

bullshite. Dodge, Mercedes Benz, Cadillac, BMW, Audi make or have made some really badass station wagons.
