bullshite. Dodge, Mercedes Benz, Cadillac, BMW, Audi make or have made some really badass station wagons.
Fast sure, but still a fricking station wagon at the end of the day.
It's like boasting your 400lb girlfriend gives a great BJ.

It's always best practice to judge an entire automotive conglomerate based on one crappy 12 year old American market vehicle. So what do you drive? I'm sure they never made a lemon like the shitastic Chrysler has
Well, junior, I'm not judging Chrysler by one particular vehicle, I'm judging Chrysler by the majority of their vehicles practically since Chrysler has been in business. It just so happens that the topic of this discussion is the Pacifica, perhaps the shittiest automobile Chrysler has ever made, at least top 3, and that's saying something considering the number of shitty vehicles Chrysler has made.
If you do not know of Chrysler's well-deserved horrendous reputation, I suggest you do a bit of research before you run out & buy a very nice looking "lemon." It won't take you long to discover by reading pretty much all leading reputable automotive reviews and by talking to 2 out of 3 people who have owned Chryslers, those vehicles have been consistently ranked the lowest in reliability & dependability, and therefore, resale value, for decades. It has been a running joke for decades, with very good reason. I'm not sure how anyone could have missed it who is beyond the age of 12.
Every person I've known over decades who's taken a chance on a Chrysler because of their looks, has strongly regretted it. I don't mean little rattling either; I'm talking about 3 transmissions in one vehicle less than 5 years old, which never was made right bc it was a design flaw. That's what the majority of the problems have been - design mistakes, cutting of corners on major components, LIKE THE ENGINE PARTS, which simply cannot be scrimped on, which is why Chrysler tends to put the emphasis on the styling of their vehicles. Don't judge a book by its cover, and don't judge a car by its exterior. ...
And Idk why you're so pissy about it unless you own a Chrysler or work for the company. It's just a fact, and has been one for quite some time, hence the crappy rep. Hopefully, they've decided to change their spots & do better, but anyone who doesn't want a $30k-$40k lemon should be skeptical & do major homework before purchasing.
And since you so rudely asked, no the vehicle I drive has never had any quality problems whatsoever, NONE. As a matter of fact, it's among one of the highest rated vehicles in every category since the company's inception. When you buy a Lexus, you pretty much never need to worry about your vehicle, ever.

Is the plan to shrink the mini-van to the point of just calling it mini?

LOL, I wasn't pissy...moreso just pointing out everything you said is anecdotal (just as are nearly all opinions on any car manufacturer on this website). See, just as you claim that everyone you know has had horrible experiences with Chrysler...I, and my family, have owned at least 8 different Chrysler vehicles since 1999 and all were trouble free. So who's correct here then?
Congrats on owning a Lexus. Yes they are overall good vehicles, but they are also a luxury brand. When you're paying premium prices, you expect and should get premium performance...BUT as any rational minded individual should know, that isn't always the case. Your personal vehicle has never had an issue, doesn't mean all Lexus cars are perfect and never break. The reverse is also true - just because you personally had a bad experience doesn't mean every car rolling off the line is a lemon. That's the point I was trying to make...

Minivans are not, never have been, and never will be "cool".
