Anybody got any action yet? If not, what percent do you think your chances are?

Me: i have not yet but give it a 14% chance between today and tomorrow.

0%.

It’s shark week and the only myth my wife believes in for Christmas is the mental load only mothers carry to make Christmas happen for everyone. (I wrapped most of the presents, planned the meals, and will be doing most of the cooking. She did select and buy 90% of the presents, but I gave up trying to help there a long time ago after realizing how much of a control freak she is about it. I just go out and buy a few things on my own for her and the kids. Oh, and the kids and I got out all of the Christmas boxes for the tree and decorating, and we decorated the entire tree while she put up decorations around the house.)

I really don’t like Christmas, honestly.

When did this whole mental load thing come about? It’s a burden just hearing it tossed around every 5 seconds.

It’s like voting. You should do so early and often.

Reddit and social media invented it.

Kind of like “gaslighting” never existed in the English vernacular until 2020.

My wife and I have a tradition every year where I dress up as Jesus and she dresses up as Mary and we just get it on. It’s the immaculate rebirth.
