i've used one for a pinched nerve that was not getting better, and it took care of the problem with no lingering effects ... did not involve any violent, twisting neck adjustment ... just repeated electrical stimulation and general pressure massage with whatever the thing is called ... would never allow one to do the neck thing ...

Can't say anything for myself because I'm too poor, but my horse gets regular chiro adjustments. They help him a lot. His chiro is a vet, though.

I get an adjustment about once a month. She probably had bigger health issues that whatever happened.

I refer some to another vet that is also a chiropractor about 90 miles up the road. She does good work.

I can tell a HUGE difference in my horse after an adjustment.

Might be worth checking if you can find a reputable one that doesn't claim to cure cancer with a minor adjustment. You don't have to be completely un-crooked just straight enough to get Kenneth to the arena.

They are barred from advertising "physical therapy" but now want to treat muscle imbalances and all sorts of other things that have been part of physical therapist practice, now that the cat is out of the bag that chiropractic spinal manipulation is not the end-all be-all for health, i.e. can treat lung issues, can treat bursitis, can asthma, etc.

Went to a chiro out of desperation because I couldn't stand up straight and was having major back spasms. After two Visits I was back working out.
Had neck thing done a different time and frick that.

I have a radiologist friend who has told me that they see at least one of these severed vertebral arteries a year, due to chiro manipulations. I asked him if I should go to one for a pinched nerve in my nerve and he said I would be f-ing nuts to let a chiro manipulate my neck.
