Nope.
They aren’t the first.
They stole the tech from US and reversed engineered the Temu version

Yeah but you actually have to generate 20 GW of power for a shot. Roughly 20 large nuclear reactors. What’s the size of the wire to hook into the weapon? 000000000000000000000000000 gauge?
It's pulsed. 20 GW is the peak power during a very short burst. The average power is far far lower than that so the power source does not have to be nuclear reactors.

There’s almost certainly some type of rapid discharge energy storage. Probably a combination of big batteries and giant capacitors.

It says very clearly in the article that it can generate 20GW for up to one full minute, meaning the energy storage and/or generation would have to be colossal.

Thats about 333MWh of storage. Or roughly 86 Tesla MegaPack 2XLs.
I think my math is right, feel free to check it.

And exaggerated by at least an order of magnitude, just like all of their "advanced" technologies they feed to the suckers that swallow their propaganda wholesale.

That’s what Mr Fusion is for. Doc Brown solved it back in the 2015s
