Several Pizza Hut outlets in China have introduced a new dish in their menu: The 'Goblin Pizza', and it has made headlines because it includes a deep-fried frog as a topping. An image of the Pizza Hut advertisement poster for this dish has gone viral on social media.

The image features a thick-crust pizza with a red sauce base under a bed of parsley with the bullfrog on top. Two halves of hard-boiled egg with black olives appear as the 'eyes' of the frog.

Since the image of the Pizza Hut ad was shared online, it has gone viral on social media.

Some users were shocked, with one commenting, “Cannot decide which is worse: The frog or the grotesque ‘eyeballs’ above it.” Another added, “Well, I do eat frogs but not with pizza. Prefer traditional style of cooking.”

One of the users said, “Guess they really jumped on the idea of thinking outside the box.”
