Holy cow, did the director of This Is Us put this commercial together?
That was really good. Wasn’t expecting it to get to me like it did

Damn, that one stung a little. I get sentimental about weird shite, and the 4Runner we own is one of them and that’s pretty much exactly how I imagine it going. It was the first vehicle my wife and I purchased after we got married, we’ve road tripped in it, had off-road adventures in it, our kids came home from the hospital in it, picked up our new pup in it, lots of family adventures around it, and more to come. I plan to keep it forever and let the kids drive it when old enough.

There’s something very irritating about the female actress they picked. She gives off cold NPR liberal bitch vibes.

Also, I’ve never heard a hot college girl say “I never want to go back to college” to her middle age parents.

Good concept poor execution/casting.

The dog on the ride to the vet (well thats what i thought) had me in pain. Miss my buddy ( a cat that was more like a dog) dearly.

The first time our oldest (twins) left for college had me in knots. Surreal.

It’s a painful but deeply sentimental feeling. It levels off though…..until they graduate and they are truly independent.

Life is a sequence of stepping stones. Inevitable and full of life’s experiences. All to be savored.

Oh yeah, that one got me. Our kids are closer and closer to being grown and out of the house-16 and 14. We put our first family dog down last Christmas, a golden retriever named Sampson. I think about my kids being out of the house every day and it breaks my heart. But man, we did it right with our kids. That’s why it hurts so much to think about the house without them.
