Checkpoints to Florida

Think we are going to go to my moms beach house in Santa Rosa beach this weekend. I saw the thread for Gulf shores. But any checkpoints to Florida? And can you use the beach? Just for laying out and still social distancing

I just went to Florida over the weekend, but crossed over on 231. No checkpoints there.

Last I heard, which was several days ago, only walking etc on beach. No chairs, umbrellas.

Yes, there is a checkpoint on I-10. They will take your info and tell you to quarantine for 14 days. They will not come check on you.
No, you cannot go on the beach, not even for a walk. Every restaurant is closed. Some are doing take out, we had Cuvée on Friday, but many have decided to shut down completely. Grocery stores are just getting back to normal.
