My youngest son is a fireman/EMT he saw the second angle and called me and said he was dead that's when I knew that were just delaying the news

The close up shot was pretty clear he was dead immediately. I was absolutely shocked when there were initial reports he was stable and getting blood.

I think it was the typical game of “telephone” where one guy reported some hopeful news and everyone else ran with it
Glenn Beck was saying he was stable with a pulse and I just could not believe that for a moment

For some reason, this one stung worse than Trump. I think a lot of it is that he died, and was so young. The other part is that he is probably the second most influential voice in the conservative movement right now outside of Trump. Even Vance doesn't have the audience that Charlie had. Charlie was the future of the Republican party, and he would've been president one day.
That shot changed the future of this country in so many ways.
