hey are writing a summons for most things.
Right? They’re writing tickets. Just
Like speeding, inspection stickers, illegal parking, or littering.
And we see how well that’s working as a deterrent.

Are they gonna charge me for someone dying from a virus? Do you really think that’s gonna stand in court? Good luck proving my actions caused the person to get the virus and die from it “beyond a reasonable doubt” and not anything else.

If they told you to stay home, you organize a second line, 12 attendees die, and they decide they want to, they are going to charge you. Whether or not they can prove anything, your life is ruined.
Good luck paying the attorney fees.

How does the governors order get around the Supremacy Clause for the first amendment?
I’m genuinely asking, you seem somewhat knowledgeable.
The greatest pitfall non-lawyers make is to read the text of an amendment and stop there. There's countless cases by the U.S. Supreme Court interpreting the Bill of Rights. Specifically as pertains to the First Amendment, there is no "Right to Gather" separate and apart from your freedom of speech. That is, a crowd getting together for a political protest or rally is protected, a crowd getting together to watch a football game or party has no protection. Even when it comes to political speech gatherings, the Supreme Court has held that such gatherings can be regulated by time/place/manner laws that are neutral; i.e., designed to serve a compelling government interest independent of the content of the speech like stopping people from getting together during a pandemic. Such a law would stop conservative rallies as well as liberal ones.
This goes for every amendment in the Bill of Rights. The second amendment right to bear arms is not unqualified -- even Scalia recognized that.

Screw arresting them, launch tear gas or flash bangs at them,,,,I bet it wouldn’t take but a couple times where people got gasses that they would stay their asses at home.

What part of America do you live in? At least half of the people in that parade have likely been in and out of incarceration for most of their lives. They give a frick about attorney fees. And there has been moves by both the Sheriff of Orleans Parish and "Criminal Justice Reform" advocates to empty the jail cells.

You have a right to privacy in your home and be free from warrantless searches and seizures. I don’t see how it’s illegal to have neighbors over to my house who I know have sheltered for 2 weeks. I don’t see how it’s legal to prohibit that under the state emergency statute.

Selfishness is what will be the undoing of our home state. Some of you are such selfish POS, you can’t do a damn thing worthwhile to help others.
Instead, you’ll liky claim how much you love LSU and “donate” to TAF as some barometer of your axing selflessness to help others.
I feel so sad for Louisiana right now because of the idiots that can’t handle a few weeks without socializing and partying.
Pathetic.

I didn't see any TAF donors in the Second Line Parade. Maybe a future Strong Safety or Running Back.

From what I’ve seen on the news, the cops aren’t arresting anyone
Went fishing with an EBR deputy yesterday. He said unless it’s a major felony you get a warrant and a court date. He said he had to let 3 burglars go last week.
