If someone with $50 million has this attitude, it could make them go broke. Just $250 here, just $640 there adds up especially if there is no income coming in, but I think he has ownership in several businesses and has used some of his money to invest.

It's .005% of his on field career earnings, I think it'll be alright. Thanks for your sharing every thought that comes in your head though.

No,dumbfrick. It’s because these threads always go one of two ways. And you bought right into the first one. Probably because you’re not intelligent. Thanks for playing.

Watch the video of Charles Barkley in this link..

He talks about how he tipped a black jack dealer $25k after winning $700k.

And how Michael Jordan is cheap. Barkley says if he sees a homeless person, he will give them some change.. And if he is with MJ, MJ would slap him on the hand and tell him "if they can say can I have some money, they can say welcome to Mcdonalds"..

Great anecdote relating a $250 tip to two guys that will go and gamble several millions on dollars at one time.

Same exact thing

The point of his post, I assume, was that simply having made $50M isn't a justifiable reason as to why someone will not go broke.

There have been a lot of people who had a lot of money in their lifetime, but because they had no financial direction, their decisions and behavior resulted in them being broke. This has happened to black people, white people... name your race.

There are some athletes (both black and white) who are really tight with their money. I remember when Chris Paul played for (what was then the Hornets) New Orleans, they said he was cheap as hell. If someone would ask him for a dollar to get something out of the vending machine, he would always say "I don't have any money on me".. They use to mess with him, ask him just to see how he responded, because it was almost automatic. If someone asked him for money, he would say he didn't have it to give them at that moment.

I wasn't comparing it to the situation in the OT jackass.

Plus, is there a tipping percentage you are suppose to tip a dealer, like there is when you go to a restaurant and tipping your waitress?

He could have easily taken the whole $700k for himself and it wouldn't be as big of a deal as someone who leaves $2 dollars on a $100 bill.

You are really proving how much of an idiot you are, today.

I hope that's the case. He should have what basically amounts to an endowment and live off the interest.

It's more dangerous for someone with that kind of money to be meeting up with strangers on a regular basis.

Someone who might have been busy all day, skipped lunch and when they had the time, went eat a steak?

What time are you suppose to eat steak?

If he’s tweeting this obviously it’s the exception and not the rule otherwise this would be no big deal. Assuming that guy held on to 10-15M and has it making interest/dividends in the 3-4% range this guy could do this everyday for the rest of his life and never touch the principal.

It’s fricked up to post pictures of the receipt when a celeb doesn’t tip and it’s fricked up to do it when they tip well. That’s nobody’s business.
