Their bonus last year was only $200...A Fortune 500 Company...200 really

If I intend to pay an employee say $100,000/ year, should I offer him $100k salary, or 90k and give a 10k "bonus"?

Honestly, it almost seems like Level 3 took over Centurylink instead of the opposite being true. The next CEO will be from Level 3 and he's already stated he will not move to Monroe.

I'm new in the area but have an I.T. background so naturally CenturyLInk has come up in plenty of conversations. I've heard it's a great place to work and have never heard a single thing negative about the company AS AN EMPLOYER except for the fear that relocation is possible, if not probable. But, supposedly they are continuing to build on the Monroe campus and expanding facilities across the highway.

So he received about 3 mill in actual cash flow?

Minus taxes and expenses that really isn't a lot of scratch for the CEO of a top telecom.

Actors and athletes make 10x that. Hell there are YouTube starts that bring that in.

Do you see richer CEOs in the quad?
