My mom would’ve been at work or at home - actually she was a school teacher so we would’ve had to finish our homework before we went out to play.
She didn’t have time to screw with protesting or law enforcement

He didn't need to kill her. He chose to shoot. Shooting the car didn't stop it from moving forward. The only reason people are saying it was a good shot is because she was s liberal anti ice activist.
She's should have stopped and let them drag her out the car. But the officer should have stepped back. . He tried to block her with his body then claimed she was trying to run him over. When she turned away. If she wanted to run him over she would have turned to the left.

I think y'all should remove politics from this and look at it factually. Truth is our tribal nature is restricting our ability to objectively look at this.

I'm past the point of giving these people consideration they would never dream of giving me or my family. These people want anyone that doesn't agree with them killed, and would celebrate your death too.

The video is clear. She even smiled at the dude before hitting the gas. She knew what she was doing and so did her idiot "wife". I was on the fence until this video. Now it is clear she is your normal, everyday modern leftist.

In reverse. Turning the steering wheel away from him. As shown on the shooter's own cell phone footage. Linked in the op.

After watching the video, the woman outside of the vehicle yelled at the driver to drive at the moment that the ICE agent was standing in front of the vehicle after circling it (I believe he circled the vehicle in order to video document it). The driver hit the gas right after her instruction. Imo, the lady outside is the reason this situation escalated so quickly.

Did shooting the car stop its forward motion?

Was firing towards other People and also an out of control vehicle crashing safer than simply taking a step back?

My pov isn't based in politics of the issue. I support the deportation of most illegals.
My pov is based on I don't think he had to shoot.

As I said if he intent was to run him over she would have gone to the left not the right.

Is a vehicle a deadly weapon? Yes, it is.
This is very simple, the woman accelerated an suv towards the guy.

Thats my position too. You're much better off dodging a vehicle than trying to shoot the driver thats coming at you. That shite only works in the movies.

I don't think the officer should face jail though. She put herself in a bad situation and paid a high price.

But she didn't go towards him she went away. She could have turned towards him.
He also could have stepped back.
What if he shot and hit other people? What if her car hit other people?
Did his shooting stop anything? Did it do anything but isntant capital punishment?

I’ve broken it down frame by frame several times here. I used the legal framework for justified use of lethal force. I’ve taken all the circumstances into account and I keep coming to the same conclusion - this was a clear use of justified lethal force.

I’m not sure what other facts need to be taken into account.

Exactly. Too many things could go wrong from shooting. Shooting into a moving vehicle rarely stops it and when it does it usually ends in a crash. They had her license plate. They could have grabbed her later.

Again, clear video evidence shows this isn’t true

The vehicle hit the guy.

When she accelerated the vehicle, do you think the guy had a reason to believe his life was in danger? Of course he did. There’s multiple videos from multiple angles. This isn’t complicated at all

If she was going towards him she would have ran him over. She was going right not left or straight. She was obviously trying to flee. Be placed himself in front her car. He did not need to get in front a vehicle.
