Need some help re Verizon coverage. We're in the process of switching over to Verizon from AT&T (I'm still pissed off about AT&T's piss-poor service during the flooding a few months ago), and I forgot to check what my coverage would be like while fishing in South Louisiana. (I fish .... A LOT.) I typically fish Cocodrie, Dulac and Dularge areas (sometimes other areas like Grand Isle and Cypremore) and certainly need cell service while I'm on the water. Does anyone have experience with Verizon in these areas? Also, does anyone know what their service is like offshore out of these areas (like 10 miles out)? Any input would be appreciated! Thks.

Outdoor Board would probably be more helpful.

Why do you need service? That would be heaven to not have people bothering me while fishing for a few hours

I have ATT phone and Verizon IPad.

Our camp is across Lake Decade and Verizon IPad gets better service than ATT phone.

That's about all I can offer

If I wasn't still on my dads unlimited data family plan I would switch to Verizon in a heartbeat.

This is exactly what I needed. I primarily need it for my tablet. Thanks again to everyone for responding.

We have a camp in Cocodrie. AT&T is great for inshore. Can't speak for offshore.
