I’ve heard of it. But until now I’ve not done any sorry if study into it. I found this on WebMD...
LINK
Basically it say that it’s supposed to treat things like epilepsy, anxiety, and sleepless. There are studies showing it can be effective in treating epilepsy. But as for its effects on anxiety and sleeplessness, there has not been enough studies done to gauge its effectiveness.
Also, since CBD is poorly regulated, a lot of the CBD being sold can either contain too much or not enough CBD oil. So when you buy this stuff, you really don’t know the quality of what your getting. And while CBD oil isn’t supposed to contain any THC, they’ve found that some of the oils on the market do in fact contain THC.
And there is also the risk of it interacting with certain medications that can have serious consequences.

I'm also conservative and see nothing wrong if he wants to smoke to enjoy himself. I drink whiskey to relax...to each their own.

Not true. These retail locations are popping up all over the country. I just leased space in one of my properties to a guy here that has three stores and doing really well. I don't know if it works, but people are buying it and it was pulled off the D1 Narcotics list and is now being used in a new adolescent Epilepsy drug.

Everyone will tell you how great it is and that may be true. But everyone I know that's tried it has gone on to smoke regular marijuana and from there several have gone onto harder drugs. It just doesn't seem like the benefits are worth the risk.
shite bag post. shite bag poster.

I use the oil for anxiety/calming before bed, it works well compared to other legal holistic remedies. A couple mg's under my tongue for a minute then swallow. Tastes like weed.
It's far better for you than benzos, alcohol, or nicotine as well.
But if you're willing, just get high CBD indica cannabis and smoke/vape. THC and CBD combined is the best thing for my anxiety I've found.

There are reputable farms and stores, you just have to do a little research. They are regulated more than you think as well.
Plus, you'll just know if it is not working.

Also, not really true. All the good CBD oil I've gotten says it has trace amounts of THC. Not enough to get you high, but enough to fail certain high intensity drug tests (blood) if you use the oil a lot.

Haven't seen this before and I'm always reading about it. Not saying it doesn't happen, but it's got to be very rare.

it really isn't cheap.
I got a bottle of CBD eJuice to vape and it was like $15 for a bottle that will last me a couple of months. I like it personally, it definitely relaxes me. I use it a bit before I want to go to bed and it helps me get to sleep a bit faster. I start feeling it within about 15min.

I just stated what they said on WebMD. But I’m sure you know more than they do.

Most of what I said was personal experience that completely contradicts what they said. I've bought CBD oil in several states and either the packaging or the employees let you know about drug test risks.
The regulation part I didn't even argue with, I just said you can read reviews online to find the good farms, stores, and products. The regulation they are talking about on WebMD is for concentration of CBD, not harmful additives. There is certainly regulation around other crap being in the oil, but I admit there is some bullshite low CBD stuff out there that advertises as good stuff. The free market is just now working this out with reviews/word of mouth, etc.
I also didn't argue with the medicine interaction side effects. I just said I read about this stuff in medical journals all the time and haven't heard of anything serious in that regard.
WebMD is garbage when it comes to stuff like this. They are way behind on it intentionally because they are worried about liability more than anything. They'll warn you about anything.
Guess what these "warnings" are for?:
Item X = green tea.

Item X is POSSIBLY UNSAFE when taken by mouth long-term or in high-doses. It can cause side effects. These side effects can range from mild to serious and include headache, nervousness, sleep problems, vomiting, diarrhea, irritability, irregular heartbeat, tremor, heartburn, dizziness, ringing in the ears, convulsions, and confusion. Item X also contains a chemical that has been linked with liver injury when used in high doses.
Very high doses of Item X is LIKELY UNSAFE and can actually be fatal.
Possible interaction with the following (Be cautious with this combination):
Antiobiotics, birth control pills, nicotine...(and several others)
Item X = green tea.

Serious? I don’t care one way or the other about CBD oil. Never had any interest in it one way or the other. The OP asked a question so I found that information on WebMD and shared it here. Nothing more.

Serious with the webMD shite. You could have a cough and their symptom checker tells you that you have cancer.
webMD pretty much always defaults to the worse case scenario. It isn't reliable in the context you're trying to use it.

Holy shite, could you be any more of a raging dick hole? I never claimed to be any sort of expert. I even said I didn’t know anything about it. I never gave any opinion pro or con on it. Caterpillar is the one claiming to be the expert. Go after him, dumbass.
