You are extremely lucky. Usually, schools have very specific policies regarding plagiarism, and it has to be reported. Lesson learned.

If she were an instructor at LSU, she would be out of a job. there are clear guidelines and trainings in place at LSU that deal with plagiarism.
I'm glad it worked out for you OP but there is no way for the institution to track how many times a student gets away with academic dishonesty unless it is reported to Student Accountability.
