Weiner wasn't there recruiting yet.

Channel 2 in BR made a video for each local school that year. Never did it again. We did "One step beyond" by Madness over at Lee High... ahhh good times.

Video is 5 years before he/we got there. We started there in '89, but yes there were definitely a number of black guys going to school there when I started.

Note there was only one guy wearing LSU-related gear. And that was the only school or team wear that I saw. If you made that today, more of the class would be wearing school or sports team-related clothing.

Didn't WBRZ use to play these back in the day too?

I think Broadmoor did one for Lionel Richie's "All Night Long".

That was straight fire!

I admit that I refrained from watching this initially because it was Catholic High related, but damn that was strong.

we were terrible in football but robert was indeed a beast
others on the team were mike manzullo, Scott van kerhove, Matt Marchand
Curtis varnado was the coach
I think we won like six games in four years

The hair was different I'll give you that but the clothes wasn't that much different than today once the punk movement had passed.

Damn.

At least we didn't have rainbow lockers in the main hall when I was there.

Haircuts.

Can't believe the Brothers of the Sacred Heart allowed this.

Brother Barry is not impressed. Ever.

CHS '95

They better still have my brick in the courtyard.

Kevin Franklin graduated in 92 or 93, fool.
