I have the multifocal. No complaints. I have 20/20 vision in one eye and 20/30 in the other. Don't need glasses at all.. The only drawback is halos and glare at night. Some people find it intolerable but after a few months I didn't notice it anymore.

ETA the first surgery was a breeze. The second was not bad, but there was a little discomfort. This is very common. The theory is you build up some tolerance to the sedation.

The unfortunate side of seeing better is that a lot of 6-7s become 4-5s.

LOL I was talking to a fairly attractive woman the other day and I couldn't help noticing her teeth needed whitening.

I've just had vision in one eye for close-up and the other for distance. Works beautifully.

Prior to cataract surgery, I've had progressive lenses for glasses several times, but this is way better.

Well, did you do her a solid and tell her, or just let her go out like that?

I got the first one on a Tuesday and the second one on Friday. Typically it's a week apart but they had an opening and I wanted to get it out of the way.

I understand some people have trouble with the adjustment. How long did it take you and do you have the halo/glare issues?

Nah I let it go. I'm sure she knew anyway.

I had the custom lens replacement surgery in both my eyes a couple of years ago. Started a thread on here about it pre-surgery and through the experience.

Used Williamson Eye Center in Baton Rouge.

Have great results. No glasses, 15/20 vison.

Had both eyes done the same day since there was no insurance involved. (Elective surgery)

The nighttime halo effect of oncoming headlights happens in 90% of the clients, but in varying degrees. Mine is really minimal. I never think about it now.
