If you mean meeting up at Sonic - yes. He said he was coming and never showed. The chances of him going and not calling me out in real time are zero.

I've been in fights in my life, although not in quite some time, but definitely never over boot preferences

Had a pair of Ariat Heritage Ropers that I wore all the time for 10 years. They started to show some wear and tear so I bought another pair and wear my old ones working in the yard and such. They are as comfortable as tennis shoes and I could and have walked miles in them with no discomfort whatsoever.

Just saw you wanted lace up boots. Not my cup of tea, ignore my recommendation I guess.

"I've had my LL Bean duck boots for 7 years and they're still good as new. I wear them to at least one Mardi Gras parade a year"

I have a pair of the Wolverine 1000 mile boots in the slip on and the lace up versions. I’ve been through soles and stitching and the more I wear them the better they look. I do believe the lace up ones are the original ones and I expect them to hold up better than the slip on ones but the slip ones are more comfortable.

Check out Ranch Road Boots. Fantastic looking boots and the chick who started the company is a Marine and a percentage of the sale goes to the Injured Marines Semper Fi Fund.
