The protester dressed as Black Gilligan. White cap, red shirt, jumping up and down in the cops face. You know the cops were all chuckling, where is Black Skipper. Sorry no pics, maybe someone can help.

I'll vote the Black Panthers as the biggest losers. Deray was likely the biggest winner because of the media attention from his arrest.
ETA: The zookeeper in the photo in front of the tank looking vehicle... not sure why I feel that way but she just disgusts me.

5) The economic boycott of the mall, Wal-Mart, etc. by leaders of the local NAACP, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and the Nation of Islam. That seemed to have ZERO effect on anything.
This.
These guys showed up in the awful Easter suits thinking that they had the stroke to influence the entire black community and fell flat on their face. Probably lost a few points too when they claimed the Baton Rouge Chamber of 'Congress' had all the power in BR.

I don't feel like the non-existent economic boycott is getting enough love.
They acted like it would bring BR business to its knees. Then, just a normal Friday.

What about:
6) the Media - tried everything they could to blow it up devoting time and resources to the coverage.
The only saving grace was that some outlets also reported on the other side of the issue, eg, Sterling's criminal record.

It was just one big fail after another thanks to LEOs.
I think this is truth. The dominoes started to fall each day when our LEO put the hammer down and contained the bullshite.

My vote is for the Black Panthers. What a disappointing showing. Must have been a long bus ride back to wherever they came from after such a weak showing here.
This by a long shot.
They showed up on Saturday and were gone by sundown.

We shall see if their fail is as epic in Cleveland as it was here.

Every single one of those bastards. The protest, like all the others, are a complete joke. Has there been a successful protest lately? It seems like people decide to protest, the media covers it, some people get arrested and a few days later nothing happened other than wasting police resources.

To be fair, Gary gains 10 lbs every time he waddles past a McD's.

4) The lady who lives downtown in the house were protesters were arrested on Sunday. She got all bent out of shape when the cops entered her home to make an arrest. Some evil-doers had committed a crime and the cops chased them to her property. She apparently thought this was a big game of "freeze tag" and when the law-breakers got to her property, that they were in a safe haven from the police. Lt. Jonny Dunham of the Baton Rouge Police Department said the protesters were arrested for previously breaking the law by obstructing a public passage by trying to get on an interstate on-ramp. “Once you’ve broken the law, there is no safe space.”

Hopefully, in the near future, I can add this to the list..
8) The ACLU suing the police over their handling of the protests and stifling first amendment rights.
This needs to fail very swiftly...
