Hawiian's often live with a couple of generations in one house. It not hard to see the virus spreading quickly once it gets in a household.

Just delaying the inevitable.
While destroying economy.
Ultimately more old/frail will die than if just let it ride. You can isolate frail ppl for short period. But, if try to prolong isolation they'll get it as caregivers etc can't maintain vigilance forever.
