In fairness, she had to have work done after her fall some years ago that literally tore her face and mouth up.

But yes, she doesn't need any more work done.

I don’t mind Carrie, but her singing is definitely on the harsher end especially at the higher ranges.

Compare her to Kelly Clarkson… Kelly has far better tonality at all ranges. She’s just so versatile.

Team Kelly.

She chooses songs that make her seem like she is yelling.
She can sing and she is hot but her choices diminish her ability.
Wife and I walked out of her concert because all she did was yell and prance around. We figured we could stare at our phones at home.

not really a fan of her music but,

quote:

Carrie Underwood’s voice/singing. It’s terrible

is a really bad take.

I'll say this, her lyrics make her sound like a jealous, vindictive bitch.

Destroys a guy's truck because he cheats

Runs a guy over with a car because he cheats

and, although i understand

Marries a guy for money then kills him because he's abusive.

Let's her father die in a tornado.

ETA: yeah this chick’s voice fricking sucks. Amirite?
Something seems wrong about this being in the same post as her singing How Great Thou Art.

She probably picked up that cheesy guitar player downtown on Broadway in front of the Lucky Bastard Saloon.

He'll never make it either.

This board's opinion on music has always left a lot to be desired and this is yet another example.

to each his own, I've got decent taste in music, I've played in a few bands, I'm not a country fan so I haven't heard a lot of her stuff, but what I have honestly sounds like a cat being castrated, my wife played her rendition of "How Great Thou Art" yesterday and it was decent, but to me she's just another of those karaoke contest winners that got thrown into the mix, that Sunday night football song is absolutely atrocious

Listen to her How Great Thou Art at the Opry that was linked in the 2nd response ITT and America The Beautiful at the Inauguration (Acapella mind you) that I linked then try to come back and say she's just a "karaoke " singer.

During President Trumps second inauguration, she was invited to sing God Bless America. The sound system didn’t work, so she sang it acapella. On the fly.

I don't care for it. I don't care for just about all female country singers. The Band Perry chick though kills it.

It's called the "Mariah Carey" effect. over sing every note to within an inch of its life. ever notice on the American Idol, etc. shows, that anybody can belt out a tune and sound ok, but when he/she has to bring it down and hold a note, that's when the rubber meets the road and "that's a no for me Dawg"
