A house cat can't kill a man but one that WANTS to tear you up will. Here's is probably a 10lb cat, imagine one wild and 40lbs.

definitely would tear you a new one. But life and death.....you could beat the shite out of it while having your skin shredded. Never ever want to come across one. Have had then walk 25 yds away while deer hunting on the ground and nearly pissed myself (purely to throw the scent trail off....). But I never thoughtful gonna die". More, "I hope we have a 5 gallon bucket of Neosporin and a case of bandaids".

Tire it out somehow
I don’t see anyone tiring it out. It’s a predator that spends every fricking day of it’s life walking, running, climbing, killing for food. It doesn’t have an 8-5 office job.

That bobcat would squish you into a grease spot.

The only significant differences between all cats - from tiny variety kittens up to lions and tigers are:
1. Size
2. Coloration
3. The ability to roar/purr
That's it. So, cats easily scale up, to put in language the nerds will understand.
In other words, a house cat of sufficient size (muscle, not fat) would merc a lot of badasses in this (and the other) thread. Period.

This is a pretty cool video with funny yankee voices. They try to release a bobcat from a trap.

That was fricking hilarious
BTW, anyone who thinks they can kill a bobcat with their bare hands is a fricking idiot. That bobcat would rip you to pieces.

Lol that motherfricker would be at your throat before you could shite your pants

Sorry, guys. I have to side with the Bama fan on this one....
Me - in need of skin grafts, may die of infection a few days later.
Cat - brain dead as soon as I get a hold of it.

I don't think you could get a hold of it.

Maybe Bama but not me. For that particular one I have a Colt 1911 45 caliber pistol my father carried all over the South Pacific in WWII that would quiet him very quickly.
And for I guess the other dozen or so I've shot my Browning 300 Short Mag makes them dinner for coyotes and buzzards.

The question in the thread title references the thread about being barehanded vs a bobcat. No pistols, rifles, knives, etc.

I agree, a grown adult man wouldn't likely be killed by a bobcat. But he might wish he was dead. Cats are vicious frickers.

FWIW. My brother, that ain’t scared of nothin, forced a house cat into a crate once. He succeeded, but his arms looked like ground chuck for awhile after, haha!

Maybe you are just a nancy. Im almost 200 lbs, im not getting killed by a <40 lb cat. Maybe you are just a gigantic pussy so I cant relate. If im in a cage and me or it has to die, I may get messed up pretty bad but I certainly am not gonna let it kill me.
Almost 200lbs, lol... aren't you a badass big man.

Well I don't see where it is specific and I'm old and tired and really smarter so I'll just bring my gun to the cat fight so I can just be done and go eat a sandwich.
