This thread reminded me I need to get mine done. Going with Mr. Tint. Never used them before but always heard good things.

Tundra Crewmax -$260 for the ceramic tint. The ceramic is worth it. Makes a tremendous difference in the inside temperature of a vehicle.

In Louisiana it will always be hot as a mofo in the summer time no matter what kind of tint you have.

You'd be surprised. Will it be warm? Yes. Will it burn my skin when I get in? No. Tremendous difference.

Happens all the time. BRPD carry a meter so when they get you for inspection sticker, they can tack that on, too.

The only place I ever got pulled over for tint was in BR. Like 6 times total.

However, my entire winsshield was tinted and this was also when DTL and the skinny white guy were killing women around BR. Ain't even mad.

Best Buy does tint, and does a great job. Used the points I got from purchasing a TV to pay for the tint on my truck in full

I'm not sure how strict BRPD was 10+ years ago about tint though, but that definitely ups your chances.

Never been pulled over for tint (knock on wood), been pulled over for other things, and cops have never asked asked about my tint. I know that across the MS river bridge, cops like to give out tint tickets, and I always role down my windows when I'm over there.

Give it time.

I don't know if they still do, but they used the cheapest tint imaginable on my back glass. Faded to blue within two years.

I got the good shite. Comes with lifetime warranty.

But yea, we will see how that goes.

I had a strip for a while then went 35% all the way down the windshoeld. When I had to strip it, I went to 20% all the way down. All other windows were at 5%.

I knew it was illegal, was more aggravated than mad when Id get pulled over and they'd make me strip a window or two.

BR has to be the worst. Ive been pulled over 4 times for tint. Twice on the interstate of all places and rolled up on one of BRPD finest "inspection sticker" check points twice.
