Low rider truck shows in the early 90s. Graduated to import shows in the early 2000s. NOPI import days and nights were awesome all over the country. Sport bikes in the mid 2000s. Now it's jeep shows and muscle car shows at the age of 40 lol.

Remember going here with my dad when he came up for visits. Walked around looking at cars, dad talking to everybody. Me eating a beef, then falling asleep on the ride home.

World Of Wheels in the Centroplex back in the 80's was a hot ticket. I got in trouble at school with the Wow magazine. Too many hot women in scanty clothing for the nuns at St. Gerard LOL

The “World of Wheels” at the Centroplex in the mid/late 70s.

Lots of Good Times vans with carpet, TVs, and trippy paint jobs.

One year the celebrities were a guy dressed up as Chewbacca, a guy dressed up as C-3PO, and the chick who played “Holly” on the TV show “Land of the Lost”.

I had a blast.

Same here, but for me it was at the old Rivergate in NOLA.. my main memory was that one year the guy who played Boss Hogg (Sorrel Booke?) made an appearance, and just kept stuffing his face with container after container of popcorn, in character the whole time.. it was pretty awesome.
