If they use the same clearing house it's not a coincidence.

Why are you laughing? Some folks need their paychecks. It isn’t funny.

Times like these it’s nice to not have to live paycheck to paycheck. I’ll get it when I get it.

Many credit unions have shared branching which will allow you to use any other credit union that participates in the program.

This is true. You will also see ITM's deployed by smaller/Midsized CU's to reach more people out in the more remote locations.

CU's, also charge much less in fees to membership.

In the past I would never go to a CU because of technology. Things have changed now. CUs have instant cash movement ability, etc. etc. etc.

FiServ Fednow - are in use by most CU's. If your local CU doesnt have one, I am sure they are working on this now.

Where I am at, when your institutions Controller hits the button to push the payroll transaction out of the company account it auto posts to your personal account and is stored in a warehouse for reconciliation.

Its pretty smooth.

Get a real bank. The United States could collapse tomorrow and the Chase Bank will be open for business on Monday.

For some, yes. But for others, no. I’d be ok. But some won’t be. I’m not gonna toss platitudes.

Apparently you don't have people that depend on you. Whatever their financial situation as an employer I have an obligation to these folks and when something like this happens I have to take a keen interest. This morning I withdrew 1100.00 cash for three employees as a stopgap because I value them.plus they were not irresponsible. They are running out of money....and I am out money because their deposits have not been returned. I can weather it. They cannot.

Of you could call the help hotline and get an Indian person on the other end that frustrates you because of the language barrier then you say something deemed as racially insensitive and they lock your account in totality.

That sounds fun too.

Whether a man lives paycheck to paycheck or not, if he worked a honest day for his money it better be deposited.
