Works incredibly well.
I have taken mushrooms recreationally a bunch in my life, but the last couple of years I've taken small doses (not quite microdoses) on Sunday afternoons and stuff like that and it is amazing what it does for my anxiety for the next few days.
It's not like I hallucinate or lose ability to function. No one can tell I took them, I just smile a bit more than usual.
Truly does work to help my brain chemistry out.

about 10 years ago when I was doing cancer treatments synthetic THC was available in the form of a pill called marinol. That was all they could offer in LA then.
It took me saying I smoked weed prior to one of my treatments, and it helped in a variety of ways, in order for the doctor to even bring it up.
One of its uses though is for anorexia patients in people with AIDS, so you can imagine the munchies it came with
