Can You Terminate a Lease Due to the Apartment's Refusal to Address Noise Complaints?

Probably going to have to talk to the dad yourself. Don't get your arse whipped though.

I made a recording and sent it to the front desk. I shouldn't be able to hear full conversations from all rooms including the bathroom.

But a house.

What does your lease say? Probably some language on right to peaceful stay if you are current etc etc.

Put the request in writing. Either email or type up a letter and keep a copy. As far as noise from above, that’s hard to address unless it’s yelling. If the stomping is really loud you may have a subfloor issue and they CAN do something about that.

Doubt you will be let out if your lease, though. Maybe ask for a transfer?

ask if he has visitation rights now.
find out what the scene is.
he may not have a clue how to parent
PS some fools let their kids run wild.

I'm paying an absurd amount for rent. I could have paid a cheaper premium for a house. For that much money, I expect a peaceful community.

If someone complained to you about noise wouldn't you get defensive? For all he knows, it's the neighbor next to him that complained. If the guy is unhinged, he could make my life miserable by now knowing the person who could possibly cause himself and his kids to be evicted. When I complained the first time, the front desk said that quiet time is from 10:00pm-8:00 am. it's now past 10 and still an issue.
