That shite sucks too.

It worked for me Of course, we had dunk competitions every day at practice which probably helped just as much.

I've been able since the 10th grade. I have terrible coordination in the air so I can't do many cool dunks like a windmill

I could when I was in high school and still had a little bit of athletic ability.

We set up a goal for my nephew around Christmas time and I'm pretty sure 10ft is a lot taller than it used to be. Something with the metric system I think

Oreos in milk or donuts in coffee that's about it.

I was always more of a jump shooter I have no vertical at all.

Yup. 36 and still over the rim. I can't do anything special but can get it with two hands.

Could dunk a volleyball in high school. I could grab and hang on the rim with both hands then. I'm 5'11" btw. I can barely hit the rim with one hand now but if I played hoops more maybe the hops would come back a little at least

On 9.5 feet yes.

10 feet, close.

There was one goal at my high school where the rim bent forward about an inch, or 1.5 inches and I was able to get a dunk on that.

I'm 6'2 so I find this embarrassing that I can't.

I thought Jarma balled...

I racquetballed. I did do intramural Basketball 1 year. Was called for fouling on an obvious amazing stuff...and one game I even made 10 points!

Did you know that we voted in a part in our student constitution that gives us rights to visit the rec center there free of charge as alumni?

funny I noticed this thread. Nice timing. I just started a "jump" program this week. I workout with weights alot, but want to increase my vert and explosiveness. I'm an old dude respectively speaking and can dunk the tennis ball as my starting point. After 8 weeks I hope to be able to do a basketball easily. We'll see....my legs already look and feel the different kind of training. So if anything this gets me in better shape. Next is to get the 40, 60, 100yrd dash times back...

Yep. And I can hold 8 baseballs in one hand. Used to be able to do 9.

All of this. Plus I can throw a football a quarter mile easy.

I could still grab the rim at 45. Since I injured my left ankle it's a nogo. I'm 53 now and miss it by a couple of inches.

I'm 6'4" and used to be able to easily. However, I'm 44 now and can get close but no longer.

Kid looks like a hustle guy, a real gym rat, team player.

Pic isnt believable though. In real life he'd lay it up.
