Can you post a link to the groupon. I'm interested but can't find it.

I have some. They have a bunch in non iron and they fit way slimmer than Brooks brothers. I caught a sale 3 for $99 around black Friday. Just sign up for their emails. I think they may still do a shirt and tie for like $50 for first time customers.

For the money you might try them out. For casual button ups I generally stick to Peter Millar, Orvis (though cuts need improvement), Lands End, BB, etc.
Not this shite again
Not to derail this thread, but is there some controversy about this term? Button-up shirts refer to any shirts where the front is closed by buttons. Button-down shirts refer to shirts with a certain type of collar (i.e., a collar that is buttoned down on the tips).
As for Tyrwhitt, they are decent value, but I think Brooks Brothers (on sale) is a better buy at that price point, as others have said.

My wardrobe is about 50/50 charles tyrwhitt/brooks brothers.
Prefer the cut of Tyrwhitt but they are a little cheaper quality fabric. No iron is legit though, they look good straight out of dryer

Dress. I think all but one of about eight are non iron
Also the more I think about it, I think the shirt and tie deal was for like $29 or $39 for first time customers if they still do it.

Combine the two and you can decide whether something is a good value.

The material they use is thinner than what I prefer a dress shirt to be. I just don't care for them. I got the 3 for $99 deal as well.
ETA: Also they do not have a ton of selection with 37" sleeves which was a negative for me.

I don't quite understand. Is $50 a piece too expensive for a dress shirt? It's hard to find that good a price even with not-that-great-quality shirts.
I've never had the CT shirts, but the guy who lived in my house before me gets a magazine that still is delivered to my house. I have a few BB shirts that are okay. But to be honest, I can't complain about the Jos A Bank tailored fit non-iron shirts. Wash, hang dry and throw in the dryer and good to go. Last a good while. And can be had for ~$40 a piece. Only problem is there's not much of a selection. Going to have to see about jumping on a CT deal to try them out.
What I really need is some good slacks that I don't have to dry clean. I wear my BB chino's regularly, but they fade over time and really aren't slacks.

J Hilburn for dress shirts
ETA: For the CT Price point, I think Dillard's Roundtree and Yorke Gold Label is much better buy.

The last time I ordered they had a much better selection available for that sale(it was something like 4 for 180 plus another 10% off). I bet they limit the shirt selection a lot more for the bigger sales (3 for 99).

Does anyone know if you can / cant use this groupon with the 3 for $99 deal?

Fair enough.
Do you have a brand that you prefer?

I have a handful of CT shirts, all slim fit, in dressy and casual styles, and I love them.
Highly recommended.
