But yet here you are complaining about anonymous down votes. Quite the conundrum.

It depends on who posted it. I down vote certain posters no matter what they post.

I am wondering who upvoted me
must have been a mistake
Posted on 9/16/16 at 8:14 am to Topwater Trout
If it wasn't you does that mean you downvoted yourself?

eta: Consider the perspective that 111 people upvoted or liked a thread stating that coastie passed away. 8 people downvoted or said they didnt like it. I've always understood that upvoting or liking stuff like that is a sign of support, but I've always found it funny that you are liking a bad event. So I could imagine there are a few folks (probably many who are less internet experienced) who are disliking the OP because they do not like that coastie passed.
maybe...still you know we have some jackasses on here (I am usually one of them)

What if they are downvoting death because there's no option to express something better than you are upvoting someone's death?
Posted on 9/16/16 at 8:15 am to tgrbaitn08
you can vote on your own post?
ETA: yep I just downvoted

quote:Curiosity (from Latin curiosus "careful, diligent, curious," akin to cura "care") is a quality related to inquisitive thinking such as exploration, investigation, and learning, evident by observation in humans and other animals.
Why do people give a shite about down votes?
Curiosity is heavily associated with all aspects of human development, in which derives the process of learning and desire to acquire knowledge and skill.

Kafaka is the original down voter.

Sometimes people downvote thing because their perspective is different than yours for why they are downvoting it.
Sometimes people will upvote a thread on a sad topic because they are showing support, but maybe someone is downvoting as a way to say "thats sad" or "i dont like that this happened to you"
