If you think off-topic things aren’t devoid of politics then you should ask the extremist on either side to chill the f out. Sadly, that’s not the case so some politics is a part of every topic.

I suppose the point of many threads is to keep people informed of how something that might not seem political can suddenly become political because that had become a part of America’s culture. For those who want to escape that, they are essentially ushering in the dystopian world of 1984.
