Can someone explain what Pinterest is?

I assume is a site where women post pictures of things they want? Or is it shopping?

You "pin" things from around the internet to your board so you can find them easy later.
I use it a lot for recipes, but that is pretty much it.

Its an everything sharing site. My wife is addicted to it. I have a buddy who found plans for shelves in his garage on pinterest.

pintrest is a great place for getting ideas if you're into woodworking or building a home or pretty much anything.
