I use a Mr. Coffee single-serve maker that I picked up from Walmart years ago for $60-70. I use it daily, with whatever k-cup or reusable k-cup shaped filter I want.

This Cuisinart SS-700 is awesome. It also has a instant hot water on demand feature that is great for teas and such.
I hope you 2.0 people realize 2.0 was created solely to FORCE you to buy Keurig licensed coffee, and it does not allow you to use the My Kcup reusable filter. And the old K cups don't work in it.
With this said, I'm not a fan of Keurig coffee. Ours is for my wife. I like my coffee a good bit stronger so I'm a french press guy when I have the time.

I just got one for Christmas. It's Ok at best. Even Community Coffee Dark roast brews weak.
Worse yet, that thing looks like a breeding ground for bacteria and mold.

I have the el cheapo walmart version single cup maker - $10 and it does exactly what the Keurigs do: it brews coffee. No cups, uses a reusable filter and any coffee you want. Only reason why people buy a Keurig these days is so that they can say they bought a Keurig. Surprised those people don't put stickers on the backs of their cars to tell the world they have a Keurig, like what rednecks do with their ice chests.

love my keurig. i put it on the largest cup setting with no k-cup in it, and it spits out a full cup of boiling hot water instantly. i pour that straight into the french press, and i'm enjoying fresh, delicious coffee in no time. whoever came up with this thing is seriously a genius.
