I am really good friends with a few of my exes and when we are in relationships we don't fool around with each other so its possible. I also have other friends that are girls in relationships that I sometimes meet up with but its always with groups and I wouldn't disrespect their relationship, or mine if I was in one at the time, by trying anything with them.

No, and this is why. (And a lot of people see it wrong) Doesn't matter your current status with her or your relationship status. If you two had the right moment where a hook up would be possible, every man would do it. Say you're married - if you weren't, you'd hit it.

I can be friends with a chick that I wanna bang without it being awkward, but I can't be very close to her or the desire for more gets in the way. I am friends with a number of women that, should the opportunity arise, I'd have sex with, but I feel no desire to pursue them for sex or a relationship. Some of them are gay, some of them are not. Some are in relationships, some are not. But I see them occasionally and we don't talk outside of the occasions we are together, usually part of a group.
