I'm going to need to see all the facts but my initial opinion is that this may have been an unjustified shooting.
This a-hole had 13 kids and 60 arrests. I don't care if he was outside feeding his dog, he will/has cost the tax payers tens of millions of dollars. I'd say for these reasons alone, the police were justified in killing him before he popped out 13 more kids and got arrested 60 more times.

Not to mention the herd of mothers.

Can't disagree with this. The mom (or let's be real, several mothers) is getting 10 to 15K a month in "benefits" for the 13 kids.

if the guy was driving off, the cop needs to let him go, call backup and have them all stop him. you cant just shoot him while he is leaving, you are not in fear for your life at that point.
If this guy has been arrested 60 fricking times, I have little doubt that the officer was more than aware of this piece of shite and just put him out of his misery.

Oh yeah, and it's the fact that this piece of shite had 13 fricking kids. That's what I'm mad about, and it's a safe bet they didn't fall far from the tree and will continue to cost the tax payers tens of millions.

60 arrests but mostly for traffic violations and weed possession, says he had been evicted 7 times, the reason he couldn't produce a drivers license is because his was suspended. So it appear's he's driving drunk and unlicensed, trying to flea arrest, that's 3 pretty heavy charges.
The guy was clearly a dead beat, pot head, with little ability and no chance of supporting 13 kids, but I'm not sure that's a good enough reason to shoot him. Why not pursue him and call for help from other local leo's and get the guy put away for a good while, assuming the local judge isn't a bleeding heart poc that would just let him go?

Because he'll go pop out more kids, get arrested more, and he and his descendents will cost us tens of millions of dollars.

Driving away, unarmed? Not good for the officer. You don't shoot someone for 60 priors.
Wait! "According to Cincinnati police, who is handling the investigation ..."
It's good.

with 60 arrests
should have been put down at around 30 arrests, at that point in the history, you cannot keep a job, you are spending much of your life in jail contributing nothing to society....end the drag on the gene pool, the environment and the economy with a bullet to his brain.

We get it folks. Many of you are now endorsing killing someone based on number of children and number of weed and traffic violations. Is there some sort of formula we can use for this now?
There are some sick people up in this thread.

Are the crimes harming other people or do they have potential to harm other people (ie speeding, drunk driving, reckless driving, etc)? If so, absolutely pull them over. If an inspection sticker is out of date or a registration is expired, no a traffic stop shouldn't happen.
He pulled him over for an infraction. Nothing big, nothing wrong with that. Then the guy hands him alcohol. Okay, red flags are going. Ask him out to ensure he isn't drunk driving (you know, a serious crime), then he tries to fight, and then drive off. I don't really see the problem with the consequences.
