Camel stampede culture.

Anyone ever stay at an Embassy Suites? They have remodeled and rebuilt to change their market but is has not happened yet.
It as if the "folks " at breakfast had not eaten in a week and had no food sourced for the next week. Every time new food came out there was a stampede to pile enough to feed an army then when they left those plates half eaten in stacks on their table they piled up another plate to bring back to their room.

I would agree but Embassy Suites became popular for a certain sort of church and family reunion so there is a critical mass which makes it worse.

I don't stay at Embassy Suites anymore, but I do wonder in at 6:30, act like I stayed there, and enjoy the complimentary breakfast.

There are two groups. Some folks end up at a buffet because it was what was easily available. Others seek out and purposely choose a buffet. Those that choose it are like horses at a trough and are the epitome of trashy no matter how how much money they have or how much the buffet costs.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Pensacola... Same shite, never again will we stay there...

I stay at Embassy Suites now and then, and you are correct. I rarely have breakfast, and when I do and I'm traveling, I try to find a local place or a la Madeleine's or some place where I can get a Mexican breakfast. That heifer crowd at the hotel is something to stay away from.

I had a manager at holiday Inn tell me, if you're ever down on your luck come in and eat the free continental breakfast. They don't care if you're staying there or not.

I stay at the Embassy Suites in The Woodlands often with no issues you speak of. Mostly business people.

That is onr of the newer type ones where they went away from the atrium. There are good Embassy Suites. But some of the older ones still are dens of chaos.
