Looks like ringworm. That means you have a worm living in your foot, laying eggs and those babies will start eating their way to your brain...

Thanks LSUNURSE, Cosmo ...just googled it. Ringworm might be the consensus. Trying to save a Doctor visit/cash if at all possible.
Are you oblivious to the other red spots besides the on big one? Nurse is stupid, you have more than ringworm

How many threads would the OT have if everyone with something that had “no pain, just a little itch” started a thread?

Tinea pedis(ring worm) rarely occurs on the top of the foot. Looks more eczematous to me. A simple koh prep would reveal if truly a fungal infection. You wear steel toe boots to work?

You’re assuming he is immunocompetent and doesn’t have the foot Aids.

I had something like that on my lower leg and thought it was a textbook case of ringworm. Got the fungal cream, did not clear it up. I had some psoriasis stuff a doc prescribed and when I put in on there it was gone in a couple of days.

Cut the ringworm out and put it in a jar with some dirt.

The more I look at it, possibly a yeast infection given the satellite lesions. You rub the foot up someone’s crotch recently?

After looking at images of ringworm, seems to be a match. will try the fungal cream and see what happens.
thanks for the advice and wisecracks.

Has the dark red outline moved much? Might be a hookworm

Look up images of nummular eczema and tell me how to differentiate the two. Not ring worm homes

the ringworm images are more consistant with what I have than the nummular eczema. Like I said, if the fungal ointment doesn't work, off to the doc.
