Today on the way to Thanksgiving there was a truck in front of me. It was swerving.. speeding up.. Slowing down.. I thought for a second whether I should call 911 to report it and decided to do it. I was on hwy 69 and 911 transferred me to the Assumption Parish police department. I stayed behind the truck and on the phone with the department and kept updating them on my location.

They told me they had an officer waiting at the gator corner. As we approached the gator corner the police unit pulled out right behind the truck. The driver must have noticed the police and he started not driving as erratic, but the police followed him for about a half of a mile and the driver swerved and the police hit the lights on him... I am not one to call the police or anything, but for some reason I just thought that it being a holiday.. I'd hate for some possibly drunk a-hole to hit a family,, or anyone really. Anyone ever reported someone for the way they were driving?

Yes, done it multiple times. Seen too many people killed by drunks who "only had a couple".

I'm still somewhat new, but what percentage of the site wants you banned? Or is it part of the schtick? Can you explain your history on this site?

I am not sure what this guy's situation was. Once I passed him when he got stopped it seemed like an older man. He either couldn't drive worth a shite or he got a real early start drinking.

There have been times I have drove when I probably shouldn't have.. But I don't do it anymore, but when I did I usually stopped drinking a little while before leaving.. But one of my good friend's daddy was killed by a drunk driver when my friend was only 2. His dad had gone drop my friend's sister off at school and a block from his house a drunk driver went straight through a stop sign, hit and killed his dad.

While that happened a long time a go and he was too young to remember his dad, its just something that is a reminder to me.. And to take a more "better safe than sorry" approach.

I was going to someone's house to have thanksgiving dinner. Didn't realize that would be something that had to be explained.

This reminds me of George Carlin hating people who refer to their dad as 'muh daddy'
