This is definitely one of those times where I want people to fight the power. What a stupid waste of resources. Wasted time, wasted money, and hopefully a wasted effort.

I lived in Huntington Beach for about 5 years, around 20 years ago. It's about 20 miles up PCH from San Clemente.

The cops in HB were DICKS! One of their favorite targets were kids skateboarding where they weren't supposed to - which is pretty much everywhere. I'd constantly see a cruiser in a parking lot with 3 or 4 kids with skateboards, sitting cross legged on the ground with their hands behind their back, or sometimes on their head. Maybe they stole something, vandalized something, or had drugs, but I had the feeling it was the cops hassling them because they could.
