A California couple stranded in their jeep for five days during a snowstorm in the Mendocino National Forest counted their blessings after their community came together to rescue them. Carlos Hernandez-Isava and Maia Herman-Kitami described how they were able to survive after their yellow Jeep Wrangler got stuck in the snow during a camping trip on Jan. 31
quote:
After attempting to dig the vehicle out of the snow, the couple realized they needed help. With no one else around, Herman-Kitami told KTVU that the couple rationed their food supplies and insulated the top of the vehicle in order to keep warm. “We had sleeping mats, so on top we put these sleep mats on the roof and the winds to help keep it warm,”
Now that's a big lady... i'm sure he was quite warm.

Will they have quadruple last names if they get married?

Had they resorted to canibalism, he could've easily survived a year or so on her.

Is it really necessary to make fun of this woman’s weight?

I always point that out. Double names are a short-sighted phenomenon.
Wives taking the husband's name wasn't just some patriarchal power grab.
It's because after generations of descendants, people who subscribe to double names will have a great-great grandchild whose name is John Smith-Jones-Clayton-Sanchez-Hitomi-Grogin-Thornton-Bigsby

Here comes the bride
Big, fat and wide
See how she wobbles from side to side
Here comes the groom
Skinny as a broom
He'd wobble too if he had any room
