I'll put it to you like this: she split with Edwards when he fought to run a more moderate campaign, and then split with him again when he endorsed Foster Campbell. She doesn't give a shite about electing Democrats in Louisiana. She's interested in a mega-liberal worldview that will not compromise.

The D Party in Louisiana still has more registered voters than any other. Yet they lose their asses off at the polls. This woman is the reason. As an outside observer (lifelong independent voter), I truly hope Edwards uses his tenure to chart a path forward to a more moderate, pragmatic future for their party.

It's obvious liberalism is a failed concept nationally (you've got to be willing to work with the other side) and locally she's a dumbass for applying that rationale here. I personally feel bi factionalism and a dominant single party is bad for political business. They need to be more competitive.

Her ridiculous world view and ideology are a large part of the reason why they aren't.

She's a joke and she holds political discourse and progress in this state back. I hope Edwards wrestles control away from her.
