Trump was in town for the flood.
The only people i know flying cajun navy shite are showoffs though. Had it stayed just as a collective term for people helping others it would have been awesome. Once t shirts and stickers showed up it all went to shite

IIRC he sent a sea can full of supplies here as well which he paid for.

I think it's a cool rallying point. They are folks who deserve the adulation even if some of the people are self serving.

He took hundred or so orders for these “Cajun Navy” shirts that the funds were supposed to go to the relief effort and never filled a single order.

I dont know shite about the branded "cajun navy," i just know a few people who latched on to it and they seem to be in it for the glory more than anything.
Whatever though, it helped during harvey from what ive heard. All together its a good thing. I just know that somewhere some slimey dickhead is riding on peooles good intentions for the profits and frick him wherever he is
Its also very cool that a the good willed people got recognized by POTUS in the state of the union. Thats cool. My whole life i figured theres no way the president would give a damn about a couple of wet coonasses
