Do they eat into painted wood? My dad has this problem but it only seems to be on his shop which isn't painted. Or is that just a coincidence?

These things were absolutely destroying my facia and soffit at my new house. About 20 holes. I was beating the stupid bees with a rake so much my shoulder hurt. Then, I bought this:

You spray the dust in the holes. It gets on the bees and they carry it back with them. In 24 hours, you won't see one bee. I mean, it wipes them out. I haven't seen 1 in a month. Then, just fill up the holes, putty, and repaint.

That dust kills everything. I sprayed a few puffs on some spider webs. Poor bugs.

Supposedly not, but they were eating the shite out of my freshly painted wood. No fricks were given. In the afternoon, it looked like it was mini snowing from my soffits, with tiny white painted wood.

I used to use a fishing net that had small holes. catch them and then squish them. SOB's were eating the wood above where i park my truck and were getting some yellow glue shite that they use to eat the wood all over my paint.

These bee traps work well! They are also easy to build yourself.

Definitely make a trap something like that pic. I use plastic water and gatorade bottles. Check youtube or other sites for how to. You really need more than 1 trap, which can be pricey. They work 24/7/365.

I take a cigarette butt and soak it in poison, put it in hole.

I wonder how well a paint would do with added powdered metal in it. I'm sure the bee's wouldn't like that.

I work on my aim with my trusty Red Ryder BB gun. You get pretty good taking them out in mid flight.

The badminton/tennis racket attack thins them out quickly. Hanging the traps helps too.
