What little respect i had for you just went in the toilet. Why the flying frick do you have grass in arizona?

My grandparents lived in prescott for about 20 years. They would scoff at fools like you.

Saguaros are highly protected by AZ law so I think you have to go through proper steps to remove them.

I don't understand this. So if you cut that mfer down (for good reason?) Who comes to throw the fine at you?

Just speaking from family history in the swamps. Cypress trees are protected, but if one is leaning precariously over your boat she'd no one shows up to arrest you when it mysteriously dissappears.

I don't own the home, I rent. The original homeowner(who lives in New Jersey) put in the grass.

Not much root structure to a cactus I guess.

quote:

Most of the saguaros roots are only 4-6 inches deep and radiate out as far from the plant as it is tall. There is one deep root, or tap root that extends down into the ground more than 2 feet.

Also...they are heavy as frick

quote:

Saguaro are very slow growing cactus. A 10 year old plant might only be 1.5 inches tall. Saguaro can grow to be between 40-60 feet tall (12-18m). When rain is plentiful and the saguaro is fully hydrated it can weigh between 3200-4800 pounds

Guess all the rain we got from the monsoon loosened up the ground and timberrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

The real problem was that the cacti sucked up a tremendous amount of water and made it top heavy.

Most people do not realize how heavy a bloated cacti is.

Homeowner has a sprinkler system and our rent includes all landscaping. It's part of the lease that we have to run the sprinklers to maintain the front yard(they go off like twice a week, less if there has been rain...so not that often).

I didn't pay anything.

And saguaros are not ugly at all. They add to the desert scenery here.

I hear people that move there do so to get away from allergies and then end up allergic to cactus.

No wonder the damned thing ruined her car; they are all mean looking flipping people off
