Good luck to you! And I think it's awesome that you're trying your best to stay a part of your kid's life.

How close geographically will you be to your kid? What are the custody arrangements?
At first, 9 miles. But potentially staying with me once again. The baby mom and I are trying to work things out. No custody arrangement needed. I get them(my daughter plus her other 2 that I've raised) anytime I want. As far as the kids go, we have a great understating, thank god.

Thank you. Only reason I haven't moved up here already is because I was finishing the school year under my current contract. Now that that's over with, I'm doing what I have to. Driving 16 straight hours on Friday night Saturday morning to turn around and drive 16 again on Sunday and be back at work Monday morning gets old quick.

Aint nothing wrong with that.

How many different jobs have you held in the past 12 month period?
Always follow opportunity

quote:well for one, when your industry and oil and gas are closely connected, times like this, people lose jobs. I was a previous company for 11 months when they laid off everyone 2 years and back. Then a month later they laid everybody 5 years and back off.
It's pretty easy. The guy has a new job every fifth page.
My current gig, I was at 10 months, finished the school year, 10/11 of my students obtained their GED. 1 has 1 more part to pass. 4 that passed got. Full time jobs. 2 enrolled in community college, 1 entered the marine corps. I was able to help a lot of young people move forward with their lives and I'm proud of that. Life has seasons, and my season with those companies are over, and God has opened the door to new opportunities. I didn't see it at first. But he was moving in his time. If I quit in February when my baby mom first moved, my eyes wouldn't have been opened to the negativity in my environment that I was surrounded and drowning in. I wouldn't have gotten this condo, wouldn't have gotten the full time job, and wouldn't have met this connection for the part time gig, which after 6 months, I can transfer to where I really want to be, Texas. Which is also where the mother of my child wants to move to. So yeah man, sometimes we don't see God's plan until it's time for him to reveal it to you. He did, and I'm very thankful. I've grown as a man during these trying times. Grown closer to my own father as well and we are working on our relationship. Finally in my life, I'm at peace.

My nephew moved to St Louis a few years back, he's your age and loves the place. Sounds like a great opportunity.

Brought to you Canada or Belgium, there are no more American owned major brewers (craft beer sure, small niche market stuff, maybe.)
Gratz though, sounds like you got some adventures ahead

Just checked his post history. Wow. This dude can't hold a job. What's wrong with him? Looks like he was a college football player that got kicked off the team. When does this loser realize his chances are running out?
I bet you thought you were cool and edgy with this post. Glad the OT set you straight. Only Owlie can talk shite about 7th. 7th is a good dude.
